This website is killing me!

In the past 6 months I have had no less than 8 versions of my website that I have completely designed from scratch and uploaded onto the server. For each of these I have gotten more adept at actually designing the graphics and polishing up the format etc. Since there are two brands under one company...originally three brands, but that's another story...I have gone through multiple logo evolutions. Check out my photo blog to see examples of the changes.

Anyway, I know that working on this website is not directly making any money for me, but I feel like it's important that it looks attractive to attain clients who would likely not be interested in a photographer with a poorly designed site. It's just that when I sit down in front of the computer to start reworking it, it seems that 3 or 4 days go by before I even realize it. Thankfully, I am pretty happy with the way this version is turning out, so I won't be doing any major revamps for a while...

...let's see if this blogging thing actually works.

I've always had a lot to say and a limited audience. Now all of the modern business gurus seem to say that a great way to generate traffic to your website and familiarity with your business is through blogging, so here I am. I am in the process of producing some serious improvements to my website, so I won't be spending a whole slew of time on this right now, but anyone who is interested can expect at least 2-3 new monologues a week.

I'll be spewing about photography, graphic design, anything creative, music, business in general, the world around me, Louisville, Kentucky, the family and whatever strikes me that seems even remotely appropriate.

I'm ready to see if anyone is listening....er....reading...
